I think the new bottle looks GREAT!. The old bottles are just plain old storage and delivery devices.
Whether you think can or think you can\'t, you\'re probably right!

    Ditto
Finally a 2 ltr bottle that you can hold on to.
I'm guessing that the new bottle will boost sales.

I'm not a coke drinker but have to admit those bottles look pretty good.

Here's the picture in one of those news stories:

Give me some cane sugar real Pepsi in a glass bottle... and not Throwback!

The tought is it will increase sales. We were a test market for fridge packs as well(seems like we get first shot at everything. Vault as well) and the first year there was a 15% increase in 12 pack sales. That's a big lift when 12 packs are probably 50% of your sales. It's a great shot in the arm for you, when sales are lagging a little because of the economy.

Looks wise it is great. The Spite, Vault, Yellow, etc has the dimple look of a 20 oz Sprite bottle. It's easy to grip and pour, and the best of all, our competition cant copy us on this one.

This isn't the first time they've tried this - they had 2-liter contour bottles back in the mid-90s, around the same time the 20 oz. contour bottles were launched. The 2-liters didn't last too long.

If I remember correctly, Pepsi Marion, IL had a Swirl or contour 2L bottle at one time. I remember seeing them many years ago.

I was just going to mention that until I read what you wrote.

Well sorry to disappoint but this is going to be the company wide 2 liter bottle so it's here to stay this time. As far as Pepsi having one, they might have had a similiar one, but it wasnt contour, with contour being a Coca Cola trademark.
