    Default Cheap Pepsi cubes

Wal-Mart is running cheap cubes in-store for $3.98 in most markets. $4.88 in DC metro - they took out an ad in the Washington Post. Here they only had Pepsi, Diet, CF Diet, and Dew.

Holy crap, I didn't think we would ever sell pop for that cheap again!! Wal-Mart up here ran them for $4.98 over Memorial Day, but other than that, the cheapest I've seen is $5.48

I still freak out at paying close to $7.50 for a cube and $4.85 for a fridge pack.

It has to be PepsiCo funded - even the small Pepsi distributor near me who normally charges around $8.19 for a 24 pack is running the $3.98 cubes. And he sticks to his guns on pricing, charging pretty much what he wants, so some chains run poor ads, unless PepsiCo helps with funding. Regular prices are higher too, I remember at one point Aquafina was $14.49 in one chain - and it's around $8-$10 in others - so Walmart won't even carry their 24 packs.

Anyone see 24 pack Coke 3.98 anywhere. I had heard a rumor that it might happen as well.

That's UNREAL...I've seen cubes for upwards of 10 bucks, but 14 for a case of water?? Just imagine how much money Pepsi makes on that?? That is if someone is dumb enough to buy it at that price within the two year code!! Where did you see this at??

It was at a Food Lion 2-3 years ago. Then the price dropped down to $9.99, and now it's $6.99.

bham - we've had 24 packs at $5.98 for 2-3 weeks now in Walmart. I haven't heard of any $3.98 pricing.

They sent me to a store yesterday that I don't normally go to, and I found this shelf tag under the Aquafina 24 packs.

They're $3.99 in the rest of the chain this week, except for the three stores in our area that the indie Pepsi distributor serves. They also had 4/$12 12 packs, while the rest of the chain had 5/$11.
