Default Has anyone had a stevia drink that is actually sweet?

I have tried various drinks(mostly energy drinks) sweetened with Stevia. So far all of them have been just barely sweet. Is their a reason for this? Can they not put enough in the drink to make it sweet or is Stevia just not that sweet?

I tried a Zevia brand lemon-lime drink and a stevia-sweetened cola recently. The cola was so nasty I poured it down the drain after a couple of sips. It tasted like the Tab cola of the 1970s.

The lemon-lime soda did taste sweet, but it left an awful aftertaste that was difficult to get rid of. I'm not planning on buying any drinks sweetened with stevia again.

    Default I have heard

I have heard that there is an additive you can use to take out some of the bitterness. I see that the Zevia drinks also have Erythritol. I am thinking that Stevia by itself is just not that good of a sweetener.

sounds to me like Splenda will remain my choice for diet sodas then.
Give me some cane sugar real Pepsi in a glass bottle... and not Throwback!

I think the Vitaminwater Zero flavors are pretty good. They're an improvement over the Vitaminwater 10 flavors, which I actually had the opposite thought about - they were too sweet.
