Looks like the conversion has begun. The new bottles are appearing in my area starting with Pepsi. I wonder how long this bottle change will last. The last time they did a 20oz bottle change it lasted maybe 4-6 months?

I've seen them from PBV as well. Just Pepsi and Dr Pepper so far.

Finally found the new plastic bottle in 16oz size. I noticed the blue was lighter in color, almost like the Pepsi Next bottle.

Just saw Pepsi and Diet Pepsi Wild Cherry in the new 20 oz bottles (which kind of look like the 7up ones - but not as ugly) at a supermarket here in CA. Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Wild Cherry, Pepsi Max, Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew, and Sierra Mist where still in the older swirl bottles. The new bottles look a little smaller to me. I had to look on the bottle to see if it was 16.9 oz or 20 oz.

Honickman Canada Dry in NJ also switched to similar bottles. I like the smaller label look a lot better. I am also seeing more and more flavors of Pepsi products show up in the new bottles, but not the Throwbacks.

Throwback now in the new bottle. Only flavor I think that is still in old bottle is Sierra Mist (Salisbury MD production).

(anyone know how to insert a picture without it just appearing as a link?)

Don't know how to insert a picture. Here's a link to a Throwback from flickr.

Looks like the conversion is about done here, I think only Sierra Mist is in the old bottles. They are also changing Dew to their proprietary bottle as well. PBV changed to it a while ago, PBC (corporate bottling) was still using the old bottle. It looked weird in the stores in the area I work in, the whole Dew line was in the new bottle, but Livewire (which PBV doesn't make/distribute in Delaware) was in the old straightwall bottle from PBC - the indie distributor was buying Livewire from PBC and the rest from PBV.

Wild Cherry gets a new look in the new bottle.
