Anyone ever run into a hot vending machine in the U.S. that dispenses bevs in plastic heatable containers?
Apparently honey-based hot drinks are dispensed in PET over in Japan.

In Japan, there is hot and cold vending from the same machine. These machines usually dispense hot canned coffee (tastes better than it sounds), hot canned tea, et cetera. I have only once seen a PET bottle in a hot jihan (vending machine). Usually, the cans are made of steel so they hold the heat better.
I have never seen a hot vending machine in the US. In fact, I figure college campuses would benefit from these. For instance, I used to use the hot coffee as a hand warmer as I walked around in the winter in Japan.
Just a thought.

I'm afraid a good number of colledge kids would use those hot cans as weapons. LOL
