    hey all,

anyone seen one of those starbucks vending machines yet? they are supposedly rolling them out now/soon with their pepsi distribution. they are supposed to offer hot coffee beverages in a can, mochas, lattes, etc.

    I like this concept.
I'm not so sure that American hot beverage drinkers
will find it appealing in taste and in quantity (9 oz cans).
Waiting by a vending machine for a minute will be a turn off to
the catch as can vending customers. IMO
If the beverage quality is good to average I predict this
concept will RIP by the 3 quarter of 2008.

Also in general at least in the urban/city areas, most
customers would walk a block or two for a fresh cup
    of coffee.

An idea that works well in Japan, but probably won't translate well into the US market.

I've always wanted to try a Georgia coffee (the brand Coke sells in Japan), myself.

I hadn't seen it yet. I don't know I would use it if I had seen it. I'm not a hot coffee person anyway. I might skip to the mochas & the lattes.
