FIJI Water also offers a unique mineral profile including higher levels of silica than any other nationally distributed water. Today, FIJI Water is widely available at fine restaurants and hotels, all major retail channels including grocery and convenience, and through an innovative home delivery program. Following the success of the flagship U.S. & Fiji businesses, FIJI Water has expanded to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, UK/Europe, Asia and Australia, where the brand’s iconic square bottle is increasingly visible at leading on-premise and retail establishments.
The position reports to the President of the company and responsibilities include:
- Developing a comprehensive business case including volume & profit projections to support new product initiatives.
- Working closely with Product Development to lead cross-functional team(s) responsible for the execution of the product launch (where appropriate, these teams include members of outside organizations).
- Establishing commercial objectives and commitments for launch team to ensure rapid and successful product launch in accordance with business goals.
- Conducting team based planning sessions for all aspects of product launch including product availability and supply chain strategy, sales force infrastructure development and training, access and reimbursement, market development and execution.
- Launching compelling launch / sell-in tools inclusive of sell-in presentation, sell sheets, samples, and trade programs.
- Managing the timeline, budget, resources, and headcount consistent with the approved plan by identifying goals, tracking progress and re-forecasting as necessary.
- Ensure high level of communication with team (both internal and external), support resources and management regarding progress monitoring.
Required Experience
- 5 to 7 years New Products Launch / Marketing experience in CPG companies.
- Bachelor degree required, MBA highly preferred.
Required Skills
- Experience in commercializing new products. Buyer sell-in experience highly preferred.
- Minimal supervision required for decision-making and resolution of project obstacles and conflicts.
- High level of negotiation skills for team buy-in and commitment.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think analytically, strategically and execute with excellence
