Position Summary:
The Eastern Regional Sales Manager (ERSM) is responsible for managing the Company’s sales efforts in the Eastern United States and for accomplishing the Sales and Marketing objectives for that region within the approved budget.
The ERSM’s primary external relationships will be with brokers, distributors, retail corporate management, retail regional management, store level personnel, and merchandisers. The majority of internal communication will be with the Vice President of Sales, Sales Coordinator, and the Sales Assistant. The ERSM will also be expected to follow Company procedures in terms of timely communication with the CEO and President, HR and Operations personnel.
Minimum Requirements:

Specific Managerial Responsibilities:
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Manage all sales efforts for the Eastern Region which consists of: ME, NH, VT, NY, MA, RI, CN, NJ, PA, WV, MD, DE, D.C., VA, KY, TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, MI, FL. <!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Further develop the existing infrastructure in those markets (i.e. strengthen brokers bring additional distributors on line, etc.) and ensure that the brokers’, distributors’, and retail staff members are adequately trained on O.N.E.’s products and programs.<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Develop quarterly sales and marketing objectives with the VP of Sales for each market in the Eastern Region and report monthly on the progress.<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Develop and effectively manage corporate programs for retailers and distributors based in the Eastern Region <!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Assist in the management and oversight of Regional Merchandisers as necessary <!--[endif]-->
Other Detailed Responsibilities:
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations and written summaries to retail and distributor buyers as well as O.N.E. management for category reviews and other meetings as appropriate.<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Secure monthly and quarterly velocity reports from distributors and retailers and work with internal personnel to integrate the data into company-wide reports and then analyze the results against specific goals.<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Maintain close contact with retail management to ensure that O.N.E. products are included in new store openings, remodels, etc.<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Coordinate with O.N.E. marketing team to ensure promotions, demos, etc. are executed effectively within the region.<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Travel to each primary market quarterly and to secondary markets at least semi-annually to meet with brokers, distributors, and retailers.<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Conduct store checks and do ‘ride alongs’ with distributor Sales Representatives and brokers as necessary.<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Participate in periodic trade shows on behalf of the Company. <!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Update and maintain the Company’s contact management software on a weekly basis, including notes regarding all conversations with contacts, written correspondence, and commitments made on behalf of the Company<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->w Maintain accurate hard copy files of all Company correspondence and provide the Sales Coordinator and Sales Assistant with duplicate copies to be maintained at the Company’s headquarters.<!--[endif]-->
