National Brand Manager
Drake’s Brewing Company is seeking a national brand manager to help manage the company’s wholesale marketing efforts, overall direction of the brand as well as executing the corporate vision for the growth of the Drake’s Brewing brand.
Areas of Responsibility:
-Responsibilities include: developing business plans including marketing strategies, market analysis, corporate vision, sales and marketing objectives and product life cycle recommendations for Drake’s Brewing Company and managing the development of all wholesale promotional materials for Drake’s Brewing Company products.
-Works with the Drake’s sales manager, sales personnel, and wholesale brand managers and sales directors to develop sales and wholesaler thru put and incentive programs to generate dynamic sales, distribution and increase share of mind vs. competitive products.
-Creates, develops and maintains channel relationships with national chain stores
-Develops communications for upper management pertaining to marketing updates, budget recaps and program evaluations.
-Develops marketing and sales presentations for internal and external meetings.
-Maintains constant and concise communication with both sales reps, sales support and key wholesaler personnel in developing and evaluating the effectiveness of all sale strategies and marketing-related programming in the market
-Participates in regional market visits with sales manager and is actively involved with sales team training, wholesale representative training, regional planning and review meetings.
-Coordinates with the sales manager consumer marketing director in the identification and development of event marketing programming, including sponsored events, charitable donations, trade related functions, etc.
-Works with the sales manager and distributor brand managers and sales teams to ensure strategies and tactical plans are executed for all relevant local markets
-Develops with the sales manager, brand pricing strategies and monitors all pricing and price promotion levels and activities.
-Identifies additional revenue opportunities with packaging and new-product initiatives.
-Coordinates activities with the consumer marketing director, community manager, and marketing events team
-Must have the minimum of a bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree a plus)
-At least five years’ experience in the beer/beverage, food or consumer products industries with direct brand development responsibilities and national chain selling experience
-Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness/ability to work in a rapidly growing craft beer environment
-Ability to grow, develop and manage teams
