Regional Sales Manager
Location: Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois
Ownership of Company trade plan execution in assigned territory by selling distribution into Convenience Store and Grocery retailers (single store and headquarters) and managing broker team in support of selling efforts. Oversee execution of shelf program according to placement model. Support Field Marketing Manager in deployment of pull thru marketing program at the store level. Success is measured in new distribution attained and increasing volume/outlet (VPO) in assigned territory. Time will be spent as follows:
80% Selling new distribution
10% Planning (Sales & Marketing)
Selling new distribution
Managing customer relationships
Managing sales brokerage team according to trade plan
Managing distributors/warehouse performance in executing distribution
Managing field marketing efforts at the store level
Strategic sales & marketing planning in assigned territory
Qualified candidates must have sales experience in the beverage industry, more specifically experience selling to the Convenience store chains in the assigned territory. Qualified candidates have strong relationship skills, are good planners and thinkers, can define objectives and develop plans for executing against the objectives, and are excited about working with Founders to build the brand in their territory. Working experience with MS Office suite required. Bachelors degree is preferred, but experience is weighted more heavily than education.
