The ideal
candidate is someone who has the capacity to enter a startup environment and
grow successfully from a Sales Representative to a Sales Manager and/or VP of
Sales.
SUMMARY
Responsible for
all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Manage quality and
consistency of products and services delivered. Promote and educate the
customer and consumer on how to best utilize SanTásti. Help establish and work
with distribution network.
PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES
·
Develop
a personal learning plan within 1 week to learn products, sales process,
competitive issues, and company capability.
·
Within
3 weeks be able to independently make a sales presentation to a new potential
account.
·
Develop
a sales plan for new accounts and a visitation/staff education plan for
existing accounts within 1 month.
·
Seek
out and follow through with new avenues to promote and market SanTasti to both
consumers and potential accounts in assigned region.
·
Use
and update CRM software on timely basis.
·
Complete
call reports on a weekly basis, including current activity, closings,
follow-up, and actions plans.
·
Proactively
identify on a weekly basis customer potential problems that may occur in the
near term. Goal is “no-surprises” on problems or major issues.
·
Ensure
product is delivered promptly and maintains proper shelf position, price, and
display.
·
Achieve sales plan for 2010.
ADDITIONAL

Assist
in all facets of SanTásti where needed

Provide
on the job training to new sales employees
·
Help
to establish and work with distribution network
REQUIREMENTS
·
Min
3 years of sales experience in the food, beverage, and/or wine industry
·
Strong
verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
·
Strong
organizational and time management skills
·
Must
live within the assigned territory
·
Willingness
and ability to travel extensively and efficiently
·
Strong
work ethic, honest
·
Integrity
and professionalism in all actions
·
A
people person and a good listener
·
Positive
“can-do” attitude
·
Reliable
transportation

Valid
and current CA driver’s license

Proof
of auto insurance

Be
able to lift or carry 50 pounds

Proficient
in Word and Sales Force (or applicable CRM alternative)

Experience
in the wine industry preferred
