Good Boy Vodka is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. We are currently hiring a Regional Sales Director to lead and expand our presence across the Mid-Atlantic U.S. states (OH, KY, WV, VA, PA, MD, DE, DC). This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales leader with proven experience at the manager or director level within the beverage industry.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about building brands, cultivating strong distributor and retail relationships, and driving sales growth in a competitive market. Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual operating plan which includes financial, volume, and distribution objectives with the CCO.
- Partner with Good Boy Vodka leadership and distributor/wholesaler partners to develop relationships and build the business within the territory
- Manage a team of sales managers and brand ambassadors in your region
- Manage assigned budgets including incentives, branded merchandise and other departmental expenses.
- Pitch and sell Good Boy Vodka's product portfolio to new On and Off Premise accounts within your sales region.
- Visit existing accounts throughout your territory to build and maintain relationships with buyers and decision-makers.
- Build and manage relationships through all levels of distributors’ management and motivate them to execute goals and objectives.
- Schedule On and Off premise product samplings and events in order to engage with consumers and create brand awareness.
- Work closely with distributor and retailer personnel to ensure that commitments are delivered.
- Educate consumers, retailers and distributors on Good Boy Vodka products that are represented within your territory.
- Track all new and existing accounts and territory sales growth.
- Communicate and work with our distribution partner in your region, and educate their sales force, to ensure our brand is being represented well
- Participate in and, in many cases, manage planned Good Boy Vodka events in your region.
- Perform other work-related duties and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Preferred 7+ years of sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
- 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle.
- Willing to travel for account and team management
- Must be willing to work nights and occasional weekends.
- Be self-driven with strong initiative.
- Have strong verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrable time management and organizational skills.
- Must have basic computer knowledge. Know how to work MS Office Suite and company email.
- Must know how to use VIP Karma
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to manage, motivate, and communicate with your regional team
- Good relationships, contacts and connections in the industry is strongly preferred.
