The Coca-Cola Company Elects J. Pedro Reinhard To Board Of Directors

ATLANTA, July 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — The Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company today elected J. Pedro Reinhard as a director.
Mr. Reinhard is executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Dow Chemical Company. Mr. Reinhard is also a member of Dow’s Board of Directors and chairman of its Finance Committee.

Mr. Reinhard joined Dow in Brazil in 1970 in the Financial Department. In 1978, after assignments in Coral Gables and Midland, Mich., he was appointed finance director of Dow Brazil. In 1981, Mr. Reinhard was named finance director of Dow Europe. He was elected an assistant treasurer by the Board of Directors in 1984 and became vice president of Dow Europe and managing director of Dow in Italy in 1985. He was appointed treasurer of The Dow Chemical Company in 1988, was named a vice president of the company in 1990 and was elected financial vice president in 1995. Also in 1995, Mr. Reinhard was named chief financial officer and was elected to the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and the Finance Committee. He was elected executive vice president in 1996.

Mr. Reinhard is chairman of Dorinco Reinsurance Company and Liana Limited, and chairman of the Members Committee of Dow AgroSciences LLC.

He is a member of the Financial Executive Institute and The Conference Board’s Council of Financial Executives. He is also a board member for the Royal Bank of Canada, Dow Corning Corporation, and Sigma-Aldrich Corporation, and an Advisory Board member of America Swiss Re Holding Corporation.

Mr. Reinhard holds a degree from the Escola de Administracao de Empresas, da Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and completed postgraduate studies at the University of Cologne, Germany, and Stanford University.

Mr. Reinhard has been appointed to the Company’s Audit Committee. He will stand for election by share owners at the 2004 Annual Meeting in April. This addition expands the Board to 15 members.

The Coca-Cola Company Elects Daniel P. Palumbo Senior Vice President; Board Of Directors Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

ATLANTA, July 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — The Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company today elected Daniel P. Palumbo as senior vice president of the Company.

Separately, the Board of Directors today declared a regular quarterly dividend of 22 cents per common share. The dividend is payable October 1, 2003, to share owners of record as of September 15, 2003.

Mr. Palumbo joined the Company in June as chief marketing officer. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Company’s marketing and brand building, as well as providing leadership and guidance to a diverse network of Coca-Cola marketing professionals responsible for communicating with consumers in local markets all over the world. Mr. Palumbo will become a member of The Coca-Cola Company Executive Committee. He reports to President and Chief Operating Officer Steve Heyer.
