MANHATTAN, N.Y., August 6, 2003-Under its mantra “Rare Tea, Rare Taste, Rare Find.T”, Inko’s LLCT, the first beverage company dedicated to producing Ready-to-Drink teas containing one of the rarest in the world, white tea, today announced availability of its second flavor—Inko’s Unsweetened “Hint O’ Mint”-a sugar-free/carb-free follow-up to its original 56-calorie product successfully launched in February 2003.

Bottled in 16-ounce stippled glass, Inko’s Unsweetened “Hint O’ Mint” White Tea is a real-brewed, all-natural product made from rare white tea buds, fresh-cut ginger and fresh whole-mint sprigs. The unique flavor combination provides a subtly sweet taste, without the use of (or need for) sugars, artificial sweeteners and/or artificial colors.

Why produce an unsweetened product when Original Inko’s is only 56 calories per bottle?

“During numerous free samplings since our launch, we have been consistently frustrated by some tasters that could not try our product due to its sugar content,” says Founder and President, Andrew Schamisso “It did not matter that we use fructose crystals (a diabetic’s choice) in place of corn syrup. It was simply a matter of sugar intolerance.

Our staff tested as many as 14 different flavors before discovering this offering–the only one, so far, that is comparable to our original standard bearer,” Schamisso states. “It is thanks to our staff and our consumer advocates that this product was created”.

Medical research is currently being conducted to examine the potential health properties found in white tea and early findings indicate that it may be a better cancer fighter than any other tea on the market.

These findings are important reasons why Inko’s LLC, as a company, was created. And, to do its part, Inko’s has promised to donate a portion of the profits from every bottle of Inko’s White Tea to cancer research.

Since the Company’s New York Tri-State debut in February 2003, Inko’s White Tea can now be found in over 200 upscale supermarkets, gourmet/health food stores, delis, cafes and restaurants along the East Coast, from Florida to Maine. Some of the featured retail outlets include: Whole Foods, Kings Supermarkets, Citarella’s, GNC, My Organic Markets, Fairway, the famed New York Gourmet Institution Grace’s Marketplace and Manhattan’s most famous independent movie house-Lincoln Plaza Cinema.

Established in 2002, Inko’s LLCT is dedicated to bringing the unique taste and health benefits of white tea to the types of people that would never allow themselves and/or their children to drink sugar-drenched drinks. Inko’s is bottled by Brooklyn Bottling Co. (Milton, NY) and run by what is believed to be the world’s first CDO (Chief Doggie Officer- autographed picture available upon request.)
