NEW YORK – Energy Multi-Vitamin Enhanced Water Corp. has added two “no carb” drinks to its existing line of natural health waters. The new zero-calorie products are peach-melon “Refresh” and orange-carrot “Replenish” in 20-ounce bottles.

“Our low-carb products have been a tremendous success because they don’t have taurine, caffeine, preservatives or artificial additives,” says company executive Raymond Jaquez. “They offer pure water, light fruit flavor and natural energy. These two new products provide a natural alternative for the fast-growing zero carb segment.”

Energy Multi-Vitamin Enhanced Water Corp. introduced its original line of five lightly flavored, vitamin-enhanced waters in the New York City market in May, selling out its initial run of 40,000 cases in just two weeks.

Company consultant Roman Strockyj is impressed by product’s “incredible” turnover and growth. “This new product has proven itself in one of the most competitive markets on earth,” says Strockyj, a former international executive with Coca-Cola. “It has a tremendous future.”

No calories, just vitamins

Each 20-ounce bottle of Energy Multi-Vitamin Enhanced no-carb water provides 125 percent of the U.S. Recommended Daily Allowance of Vitamin C and 40 percent of the RDA for Vitamins A, E, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12. The drinks also deliver significant minerals and other nutrients, including calcium, iron, zinc, potassium, magnesium, iodine, and chromium. There are no calories, carbs, artificial flavors or colors.

The company’s low-carb line features five varieties: “Power A” has a peach-strawberry taste high in Vitamin C; “Rejuvenate” features a Vitamin E formula and orange flavor; “Recovery” has extra B12 with kiwi-strawberry flavor; and “Revitalize” combines Vitamin A with a tropical-citrus flavor. The line also offers a tropical punch Sports water fortified with electrolytes.

Enhanced water is the fastest growing segment in the U.S. beverage category. Trade publication Beverage Industry reports that the market for enhanced water market grew more than 40% last year, to more than $325 million wholesale in the U.S.
