New York, NY (January 4, 2005) – Fighting the season’s worst bug has taken on a new twist, thanks to an innovative New York City-based beverage maker. Brain Twist is launching Flu & Cold DefenseT, a new line of drinks fortified with vitamins, which are both practical home remedies and delicious beverages available in Natural Peach and Natural Orange flavors.

Flu & Cold Defense is making its debut on the shelves of participating 7-Eleven® stores nationwide starting in early January. The product will be available in single-serve, 20-ounce wide-mouth plastic bottles.

Since moms have always recommended Vitamin C and lots of water to keep away winter sickness, Flu & Cold Defense is loaded with the best parts of home remedies. The drink contains throat-soothing pectin, as well as 350 percent of the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C and 90 percent of the recommended daily allowance of zinc.
