Coke Consolidated test marketing 16, 24 oz bottles

Coke Consolidated is test marketing a new bottle sizes in 64
stores within its territory, according to Beverage
Digest.

BD reported that
the distributor has removed 20 oz. PET bottles at those stores in favor of 16
and 24 oz bottles, selling for $0.99 and $1.39 to $1.49 respectively. According to anonymous source familiar
with the test, BD reported, Consolidated
saw a “significant volume lift” at the tested stores.
