Atlanta, GA, May 6, 2008 – AHD International – a distributor of new-to-market nutraceutical ingredients has announced that, based on an independent and collective scientific evaluation, an Expert Panel has concluded that AHD’s Luravida™ Omega 3 Cranberry Seed Oil, produced in accordance with current GMP, has been GRAS (generally accepted as safe) approved. The Expert Panel further concludes that this use is GRAS based on scientific procedures and corroborated by a history of safe use.

Luravida™ Omega 3 Cranberry Seed Oil is a fruit based Omega 3, 6, and 9, oil with no fishy odor or taste. The oil is 100% natural, vegetarian safe, stable and is a naturally occurring antioxidant containing 8 isomers of Vitamin E and Phospholipids. The Expert Panel consisted of a former FDA toxicologist and two scientific members from AIBMR Life Sciences.
