Vacation in a Bottle announces Northern Nevada distributor

DALLAS, Texas) October 23, 2009-ViB Holdings LLC just announced its latest distributor agreement with Dr. Pepper 7-Up Bottling Company of the West. Vacation in a Bottle, the popular relaxation beverage, is now available on store shelves in northern Nevada.

The Dr. Pepper 7-Up Bottling Company is adding ViB to is roster of non-alcoholic carbonated beverages, waters and alternative drinks. The company is excited to bring vacation vibes to stressed Nevadans in the Reno, Carson City, Sparks and Lake Tahoe areas.

“I think the relaxation category will be the next big exploding category. In these economic times, everyone is experiencing high stress levels. People are looking to relax and unwind and that is exactly what ViB does. It helps you chill and keeps you focused,” explains Tim Davis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Dr. Pepper 7-Up Bottling Company of the West.

Travis Hollman, founder of Vacation in a Bottle, understands that people are over caffeinated and stressed out. “Times are tough for everyone, so we wanted to help people unwind and be happy in a healthy way. We expect ViB to be a huge hit in Nevada and we are proud to partner with such a highly regarded bottling and distributing company.”

With the recent explosion in the relaxation beverage category, Hollman notes that ViB was the first to take over store shelves and educate America on healthy relaxation.

“Some of our competitors have entered the market with Melatonin-based drinks that just make you sleepy. ViB gives you a calming energy and focus from natural ingredients.”

In addition, ViB has garnered a mass celebrity following along with its roster of A-list investors. Dallas Cowboy Jason Witten, Cincinnati Bengals star Roy Williams, and Entertainer Jessica Simpson are just a few of ViB’s famous fans.

“ViB has emerged the market leader. We’re happy to announce that ViB sales are up 252-percent his year. The competition is simply trying to play catch up at this point,” says Hollman.

About ViB

Dallas entrepreneurs Travis Hollman and Johnny Dela Valdene know a few things about fun. Right on the heels of their hit toy, The Marshmallow Shooter, the fun-preneurs are at it again with their latest creation, ViB (Vacation in a Bottle).

ViB [pronounced Vibe] is leading the next drinkable trend: the relaxation beverage. Hollman and Valdene launched ViB after seeing a growing backlash against the energy drink market. ViB’s main ingredient is the amino acid L-Theanine, the same ingredient that gives green tea its calming effect. Combined with other amino acids and B-vitamins, ViB is a low-sugar, no caffeine, lightly carbonated beverage that relaxes, while increasing focus and concentration.

And, ViB has tremendous star power behind it. Singer and actress Jessica Simpson says, “Vacation in a Bottle is the most refreshing surprise. With my crazy schedule “ViB” helps me to relax and stay focused. I feel less stressed and more balanced after just one. Who doesn’t love to go on a vacation! I can be there every day with Vacation in a Bottle.”

ViB has been the relaxation beverage of choice in many late night and reality show green rooms. Celebrity investors include: Cincinnati Bengals sensation Roy Williams, Dallas Stars’ Forward Mike Modano, Cowboys’ Tight End Jason Witten, Mavericks’ President Donnie Nelson, Phoenix Suns forward Amar’e Stoudemire, and Green Bay Packer Great, Marco Riviera.

ViB is available nationwide at major retailers including 7-Eleven, Arco AM/PM, QuikTrip, Albertsons, United Market Street and many other independent retailers nationwide.
