EAS Announced Recall of EAS Peak

EAS has announced a voluntary recall of its new sports beverage, EAS Peak.

After a single consumer complaint, the company conducted quality testing to determine whether or not there was an issue with the product. According to a recent press release from divisional vice president, Jennifer M. Smoter, the testing revealed the “presence of foreign matter” in the beverage.

The products were made at a third-party contract manufacturer and currently come in 16 oz. bottles in Fruit Power, Peach Surge and Orange Spark flavor.  As of the time at which the release was issued, there have been no reports of illness. The company recommends that the beverages involved in the recall be discarded.
