Columbia Gorge Organic Offers an Organic, Seasonal Blood Orange Juice Blend

Hood River, Ore., Mar. 11, 2010 – Just because we’re in the colder months that doesn’t mean you can’t have fresh citrus in your diet. Columbia Gorge Organic (CoGo), an all-organic, fresh juice and fruit company, announced today the addition of a new seasonal drink to their Juice & Blends line: Pure Squeezed Blood Orange Juice with Orange Juice. This new offering is a seasonal blend of Moro blood oranges, a variety which adds a bright, tart flavor and a ruby red blush combined with a dash of sweet and fragrant winter orange juice. CoGo created the Blood Orange Blend for people seeking a seasonal citrus juice through the winter.

“Our food service accounts such as restaurants and college campuses have raved about our pure blood orange juice, so we thought we’d package a special seasonal blend that all of our customers can enjoy,” said Jimmy Stewart, co-founder of Columbia Gorge Organic. “We source the Moro blood oranges during their growing season from late January through April, directly from Sespe Creek Organic Farm, which is located in Fillmore, California.”

Blood Orange Juice Blend is available in new CoGo-designed 16 fl. oz. recyclable plastic bottles for the suggested retail price of $3.29. The drinks are available at stores throughout Wash., Ore., and Calif., as well as in Minn., Iowa, and Ill.
