Scottsdale, AZ (February 18, 2011) – Dan Schweiker, Co-Chairman of China Mist Brands, Inc. is pleased to announce of the addition of Joseph Jacober as President, and that an Advisory Board has been established to help propel China Mist Brands as they grow both their foodservice and consumer products.
Joe Jacober was President and CEO of Branding Ranch, a brand development and marketing consulting company focused on consumer products industries. In 2006, Jacober founded Innovative Brands where he successfully negotiated and led the acquisition the Pert Plus shampoo and Sure antiperspirant brands from Proctor & Gamble and subsequently sold them to a strategic buyer. Jacober has more than 25 years experience in successful management, marketing and business development roles in a variety of companies, and is an expert in the consumer products industry.
An Arizona native, Jacober holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising/Marketing from Arizona State University.
According to John Martinson, Co-Chairman, “Joe’s understanding of our industry and leadership skills coupled with his extensive background in the consumer products industry makes him the ideal person to lead us into the next exciting phase of our continually evolving business.”
The advisory board consists of executives in coffee and tea, finances and consumer goods.
Stan Greanias, who retired as a Vice President at Sara Lee Corporation and CEO of Sara Lee Coffee and Tea, North America after twenty-five years of service, currently serves as Interim CEO and board member of Javo Beverage Company and as President & CEO of the Greek American Restaurant Cooperative.
Stan Laybourne, retired CFO, Secretary, Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of Insight Enterprises, Inc. where he guided the company from $10 Million in sales to $5.2 Billion during his 17 years with the company. Stan also served as CFO of the Fiesta Bowl, one of the five BCS Bowl games, for over 18 years. He is a former partner of a Big Four accounting firm and is a CPA.
Brad Casper was President and CEO of the Dial Corporation, a subsidiary of Henkel Corporation of Germany, from 2005 to 2010 where he lead all facets of the North American consumer goods business. Previously, Brad was President-Personal Care for Church & Dwight, Co. Inc, where he also served as President of ARMKEL, a joint venture with Kelso an investment backing firm in NYC. The vast majority of Brad’s career, however, was at Procter and Gamble, where he served in a series of progressively challenging roles over a 16+ year period.
