Newport Beach, California (November 30, 2011) — Coast Brands Group, the beverage management services company founded two years ago to assist brands with distribution and chain management, is now national. Last week, Coast hired Jeff Galligan and Craig Robertson to manage the Pacific Northwest and Northeast regions, respectively. This completes Coast’s nationwide expansion of services and coverage.
Jeff Galligan has joined the Coast Brands team as Regional Sales Manager for the Pacific Northwest and is based in Portland, Oregon. With nearly 30 years of experience at Anheuser‐Busch in California, Washington & Oregon where he held various sales and account management positions including Olympic Venue Product Exposure Management, Western Region Sales Representative and Pricing and Chain Manager. His chain management experience includes Safeway, Albertson’s, Fred Meyer, QFC, Costco, 7‐11, Plaid Pantry, am/pm among many others. Jeff’s solid chain relationships will be a win for Coast’s clients.
Craig Robertson, based in the state of New York, is Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast territory. Craig will be responsible for managing DSD distributors and chain accounts in the aforementioned area. Craig brings 27 years of beverage and consumer packaged goods executive sales and management experience and has developed & implemented successful promotional strategies and sales & distribution plans to increase sales volume and brand exposure.
In addition to Jeff and Craig, Coast is currently in the process of hiring ten employees in the next six to eight weeks.
“We have all of the right people in place across the country, now we need to simply add more key employees to enhance our services and continue to grow the brands within our portfolio,” says Coast’s CEO Bob Groux.
Among the upcoming key hires will be several National and Regional Chain Account Managers in the Northeast, Mid‐Atlantic and Southwest.
“Our growth strategy is to be one step ahead of our brands so when they’re ready to enter a new market, we’re already there,” adds Groux.
Furthermore, Coast is currently interviewing candidates for specific channels including Foodservice, Natural, Drug and Specialty. As Groux states, “By the end of the first quarter of 2012 Coast will have an expert dedicated to every channel.”
