Olade 2.0 Debuts at Expo West

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (March 8, 2011) – Ola Beverage Co, already a leader in the low-calorie enhanced water category, is launching its newly reformulated Olade Enhanced Water line now bearing the USDA organic seal at Natural Products Expo West.

All six Olade flavors were reformulated with organic stevia, fortified with vitamin C, and now contain higher and more balanced levels of electrolytes. As a result, Olade is the only line of low-sugar, stevia-sweetened enhanced water with the USDA organic logo in its category.

“We’re thrilled to be delivering even more value to our customers,” says Brad Wilk, Olade founder. “Olade began because I was unable to find a low sugar, organic electrolyte replacement drink and we’re happy that we can fill that need in the market in an even better way.”

Olade Lemon, Mango, Strawberry, Ginger, Pomegranate, and Cranberry will be available for sampling at booth 2016. The entire line is currently distributed through numerous retailers all over the US including Whole Foods Market, Rosauers, King Soopers, Jimbo’s, United Market Street, AJ’s Fine Foods, Amazon.com, and Vitamin Cottage.

About Olade

In 1997 musician Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave) was diagnosed with Late-Onset Type 1 Diabetes. When he was unable to find an electrolyte replacement drink that fit his new dietary needs, he began formulating his own. After receiving favorable responses from friends and family and realizing the enormous need for low-sugar, organic enhanced beverages Olade was born. Today, Brad and his wife Selene are happy to offer Olade in six organic, stevia-sweetened flavors: Lemon, Strawberry, Pomegranate, Mango, Cranberry and Ginger.
