Joia, a line of all-natural, mixologist-inspired sodas, is now distributed at The Fresh Market. Joia, a Best of BevNET 2011 winner and participant in BevNET Live’s New Beverage Showdown 2, produces a number of distinctive flavors such as Lime, Hibiscus and Clove; and Grapefruit Chamomile & Cardamom. Since its debut in 2011, the line of sodas had been primarily sold in the Minneapolis area, where the drinks are produced, though Joia will now look to dramatically increase distribution with The Fresh Market, with its 115 locations in 21 states.
With the addition of Joia to its beverage mix, The Fresh Market continues to expand upon its set of on-trend entrepreneurial brands. Over the past 12 months, the retailer has picked up several emerging beverage brands including Harmless Harvest, HINT Fizz, Cheerwine, Coco Café, Bibbs, and Aloe Gloe.

New relationship with trend-driven specialty grocery retailer expands Joia’s distribution to 115 stores in 21 states
MINNEAPOLIS (May 7, 2012) — Joia, a line of all-natural sodas that debuted in the Twin Cities in July 2011 and was named by BevNET as Best Carbonated Beverage of 2011, today announced that its sodas will be carried in The Fresh Market stores, significantly expanding Joia’s distribution to the specialty grocery retailer’s more than 100 stores throughout the Southeast, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.
