The message is simple: abandon the caffeinated and sugary beverages in favor of healthier choices. The goal is to make healthy appealing to younger people.

“It’s really all about what young people perceive as “cool,” says Helena Lumme, who co-owns Simpli together with Mika Manninen. “Beverage companies spend millions in making unhealthy drinks appealing. We have to do a better job to make clean and natural a cool thing,” conclude Lumme and Manninen, who also wrote and directed the video.

The video is edited by Adam Little, editor of many # 1 music videos for today’s hottest stars including Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and many more.

Simpli’s music video is performed by aspiring musician, Sawyer Frye, winner of Simpli’s Next Great Talent competition. “Feedback from young viewers has been exactly what we hoped ‘great message,’ ‘the guy is hot,’ ‘makes me want to drink it,'” Lumme adds.

The Next Great Talent is Simpli’s annual competition with a mission to get young people interested in healthier choices. The next annual contest will be announced in the Spring.
