LOS ANGELES, California (June 11, 2012) – Purpose Beverages, Inc., makers of Tēvolution iced teas, announced that they have secured expanded distribution in the Mid-Atlantic through Avenue Gourmet. The partnership will expand sales of Tēvolution into greater Baltimore, Maryland and up through southern Pennsylvania.
Avenue Gourmet is an established and highly respected specialty food distributor based out of Owings Mill, MD. Avenue Gourmet distributes a broad variety of gourmet, high-end food products to retailers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Purpose Beverages’ launch brand, Tēvolution, is an all-natural, organic and charitable line of glass-bottled iced teas. Tēvolution is currently distributed throughout the entire Western U.S. by natural products distributor Nature’s Best, and in the Washington, DC area by Delmar Provisions. The new distribution agreement with Avenue Gourmet will grow the brand’s retail distribution and improve service at key customers along the East coast. Avenue Gourmet will assume distribution of Tēvolution to Whole Foods Market, allowing for quick expansion in Whole Foods’ mid-Atlantic region.

Tēvolution is available at specialty retailers and gourmet eateries on both coasts, including Whole Foods Market locations in Washington DC and northern Virginia.
