Flash Workout Event and WAT-AAH!’s Move Your Body 2012.
“Skaters, amateurs and professionals alike, from across the country solicited for our brand’s involvement in their sport and specifically, their national holiday Go Skateboarding Day,” says Rose Cameron. “They have discovered our brand, love our product and logo, and more importantly, expressed their support of our mission and health message among their peers. We are very proud to play a significant role in a day that promises to be an exciting demonstration of their passion for the sport. And we will soon announce more projects and partnerships with these skaters in the future,” she adds.
Along with WAT-AAH!’s official sponsorship of the GSD events, it will be providing products to keep all participants hydrated as well as giving away merchandise which was custom designed in collaboration with these skaters such as t-shirts, hats, hoodies, back packs, stickers and tattoos. About Go Skateboarding Day
Go Skateboarding Day, held on June 21 every year, is the official holiday of skateboarding. The holiday began June 21, 2003 as an excuse for skateboarders to make skateboarding their top priority. GSD began with a few simple skate sessions and bar-b-ques and has since grown into a day celebrated around the world, where skaters across cities gather in skateparks, stream into their local skate shop and some will even revel in the solitary act of skateboarding alone at their favorite spot, all bringing together the skateboarding community. Founded by the International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC), GSD gives passionate skateboarders, as well as those who are simply inspired by skateboarding, the opportunity to drop everything and get on a skateboard.
