SAN FRANCISCO — Arrowhead Brand 100% Mountain Spring Water will hydrate runners at the inaugural Transamerica Rock ‘n’ Roll San Francisco Half Marathon as the event’s official bottled water sponsor and ultimate training partner. The brand is teaming up with elite marathon runner Josh Cox to inspire first-time and seasoned runners to perform at their best.
Cox will join Arrowhead at the Health & Fitness Expo on April 5 and 6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Cox, the American record holder in the 50K, four-time U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier and three-time U.S. National Team member, will be at the Arrowhead Brand booth sharing his hydration tips and expert training advice.
“When it comes to performing at your best, hydration is essential,” says Cox. “As a professional athlete and full-time runner, Arrowhead is an important part of my workout routine in California.” Cox will encourage runners to share their personal stories on running bibs at the Arrowhead Brand booth to serve as inspiration for Sunday’s race and will invite them to ask questions about improving their own personal running journeys.
Arrowhead Brand 100% Mountain Spring Water recently introduced its new .5L ReBorn bottle made with 50% recycled plastic (rPET). The brand, which sources its water from carefully selected mountain springs, has supported various running events for more than 12 years, is excited to now be the official bottled water sponsor of the upcoming Transamerica Rock ‘n’ Roll San Francisco Half Marathon on Sunday, April 7.
