Forgiven Bottling Group Launches Alcohol Metabolizer Shot

LAS VEGAS — Consumer products company Forgiven Bottling Group Inc. (FBG) has announced the launch of a fast-acting liquid formulation of its flagship nutritional supplement: Forgiven. The world’s first and only alcohol metabolizer, Forgiven helps the body process alcohol more rapidly and therefore, helps to alleviate its ill effects and the syndrome of post alcohol consumption conditions known collectively as a “hangover.”

FBG is launching the Forgiven liquid format in three flavors: grape, orange and tropical punch. FBG will distribute Forgiven two ways: in 60 ml (2-oz) “shots” designed for individual purchase and consumption, and 750ml bottles designed for sale in bars and restaurants. FBG is re- launching its domestic distribution efforts, building on the wide distribution it secured for the capsule version of the product, which has been carried at GNC, CVS, Circle K, Duane Reade, 7- Eleven, Get N Go, Terrible Herbst convenience stores, and other outlets. FBG is also launching internationally and redesigning its website for sale of the product direct to the consumer from http://www.takeforgiven.com.

In a clinical study completed in 2012, Tari D. Topolski, PhD found that in her sample of independent test subjects, taking Forgiven following alcohol consumption helped them reduce their blood alcohol level faster than without the supplement. Her conclusion? “Taking Forgiven helped the participants in this study to metabolize alcohol and a significantly faster rate than would normally be expected. Additionally, overall, participants experienced significantly fewer hangover symptoms when they took the Forgiven.”

Furthermore, in May 2013, the US Patent and Trademark Office awarded FBG two patents protecting its proprietary formula as an “alcohol metabolizing assisting supplement”; no other nutritional supplement contains Forgiven’s original proprietary formula or demonstrated benefits.*

How does Forgiven work? As our bodies process alcohol, we break it down into intermediate products before turning it into non-toxic compounds that our bodies can easily remove. One

by-product of alcohol metabolism is acetaldehyde, a toxin that can also be found in yeast, vehicle exhaust and cigarette smoke. Essentially, the faster the body can convert acetaldehyde into acetic acid, the more rapidly the body “burns” alcohol. In short, Forgiven helps fuel the metabolism to process alcohol.

“We’re delighted to introduce Forgiven to the market in liquid form,” says CEO Chas Aday. “Forgiven pioneers the effort to alleviate one of humankind’s biggest annoyances. Everyone hates the follow-on effects of alcohol consumption. Now, you can drink a 2 oz shot after a good time and be Forgiven.”

Here are some of Forgiven’s ingredients and what they do in the body:

Organic Acids: Mixtures of organic acids and minerals, humic and fulvic acids are considered among the most powerful anti-oxidants known. These acids also include minerals such as magnesium, calcium and potassium that boost energy production, reverse dehydration, along with over seventy trace minerals in organic form that promote enzymatic reactions in the body, such as amino acid activation and DNA synthesis.

L-Cysteine and L-Glutamine: While the liver converts alcohol into acetaldehyde, acetaldehyde toxicity leads to severe headaches and vomiting. L-Cysteine and L-Glutamine are needed to maintain the body’s glutathione levels, which detoxify the acetaldehyde in the blood and allow for rapid lowering of alcohol levels in the blood. These also enhance alertness and, once restored to normal levels, will allow someone who has consumed alcohol to sleep more restfully.

Rhodiola Rosea Extract: Researchers tout the plant Rhodiola Rosea as an “adaptogen” due to its ability to increase the body’s resistance to a variety of environmental and physical stresses. Rhodiola Rosea has been shown to stimulate the nervous system, improve depression, enhance work performance, improve sleep and eliminate fatigue.

Vitamin B1: Alcohol consumption depletes Vitamin B1, aggravating headaches common to alcohol consumption. The body needs Vitamin B1 to convert food to energy, provide proper nerve conductivity, and make you feel better.

In addition to its retail and on-premise promotional techniques, Forgiven is out in the marketplace with athlete and entertainer support in a number of intense situations. Forgiven supports BMX’er (and Forgiven co-owner) TJ Lavin; rapper Bryan Mahoney aka “Big B;” MMA athletes Gray Maynard, Frank Trigg and Roy Nelson; BMX rider Anthony Napolitan; supercross champion Josh Hansen; and BMX vert rider Coco Zurita. “Our athlete partnerships are in keeping with Forgiven’s mission,” Aday concludes. “These athletes and artists excel in extraordinary achievements in punishing situations. Forgiven works for these guys off the track, off the mat, and offstage and we know it will work for you; it’s the perfect, natural and healthy supplement for consumers looking to feel their best after a long night is over.”
