OJAI, Calif. — Lori’s Original Lemonade is excited to announce a partnership with Whole Foods Market Southern Pacific region’s 49 locations. Both the organic Ginger Lemonade and organic Lavender Lemonade has begun rolling out onto shelves in all 49 stores throughout Southern California, Arizona, Hawaii and Las Vegas.
Chief Believer & formulator Lori Volk says, “This added distribution will allow us to share our bold, handmade lemonades with more lemonade lovers in new markets, and this will allow us to begin our passion project to donate a portion of profits to the Asociacion Huarayo, which protects vulnerable children in the Peruvian Amazon.”
It all started on a hot summer day, when mom-entrepreneur, Lori Volk, decided to make Lavender Lemonade for her children’s lemonade stand. When they started selling out everyday, she knew she was onto something great. With the motto of “Wish it, Dream it, Do it,” Lori took a leap of faith and began selling her Lavender Lemonade to local fans in the Ojai Valley. When her three children made their journey off to college, Lori knew it was time for a new journey of her own. She embarked on her training expedition for a triathlon in 2010. Lori set her sights on Ironman Arizona 2012. While training, Lori decided it was time to bottle her Lavender Lemonade and the company Lori’s Original Lemonade was born. Lori pushed herself past her limits by launching her bottled lemonades the same year she became an Iron(wo)man at age 50.
