This partnership will help open the door for Minta to enter the Western United States and increase distribution points in local markets, convenience stores, and retailers serviced by Unified Grocers.
Accompanying the distribution deal are supermarket and other retail agreements. The brand will be available in Haggen’s Northwest Fresh stores starting in June. Founded in 1933, the company currently operates 29 supermarkets throughout Washington and Oregon. Haggen is one of the 75 largest grocery chains in the United States, according to Supermarket News, and is the Northwest’s largest independent grocer.
