SAN ANTONIO — Ozarka® Brand 100% Natural Spring Water is proud to return to the Lone Star State as the official bottled water sponsor of the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon & ½ Marathon. In an effort to inspire both first-time and seasoned runners, the brand is once again teaming up with elite marathon runner Josh Cox to help encourage and hydrate race participants.
Sourced from carefully selected natural springs, Ozarka® 100% Natural Spring Water has supported various running events for more than 10 years. The brand will supply water at the start and finish lines on race day, November 17.

Cox, the 50K U.S. record holder, four-time Olympic Trials qualifier and three-time U.S. National Team member, will join Ozarka® Natural Spring Water at the 2013 Health & Fitness Expo from November 15-16 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Visitors are welcome to visit the Ozarka booth to get hydration tips and training advice from Cox. Cox will offer advice about personal training routines, share personal stories and invite participants to ask questions about improving their own running journeys. Everyone is also welcome to visit the Ozarka booth to share their own stories of personal betterment on running bibs to serve as inspiration for Sunday’s race, which will be displayed at the Expo.
On Saturday, November 16, Cox will take a group of San Antonio marathoners on their final training run before Sunday’s race. Following the training run, which will take place through the historic Alamo district in downtown San Antonio, the runners will have the chance to chat with Cox one-on-one for last minute advice.
“I’m excited to train with and motivate runners during the final leg of their prep for this weekend’s marathon series,” says Cox. “Proper preparation and hydration are two huge factors to success when running any race, and I’m proud to help give these runners the tools they need to have their best run yet.”
