The U.S. Food and Drug Administration sent a letter to Garden of Flavor, an HPP juice company, that claims unsanitary conditions and adulterated products at its manufacturing facility in Cleveland.
In response to the letter, Garden of Flavor founder Lisa Reed shared with BevNET the following statement:
“We respectfully disagree with the FDA letter,” Reed said. “At Garden of Flavor, current good manufacturing practices, sanitation and food safety is our top priority. The letter from the FDA is not a final agency decision. We intend to demonstrate our practices above and beyond the FDA’s regulation in order to demonstrate complete compliance with the law.”
