Last month, Big Time Tea garnered a big-time win for its innovative, first-to-market tea for kids, Little Me Tea.  Little Me Tea’s new flavor, Berry Tasty Tea, certainly lived up to its name and became the press room’s top pick for the Best of East award at Expo East last week in Baltimore, MD. The Best of East Award is the official Natural Products Expo East show award, voted on by more than 300 members of the press and given to the three most innovative products and emerging entrepreneurial brands exhibiting at the event.

“What a huge coup for this little brand,” said founder, Melinda Hicks. “To win against some of the best brands in our industry, brands for which we have deep respect and admiration, elevates Little Me Tea to a whole new level.”

The healthy alternative to juice, Little Me Tea is the only organic, Non-GMO Project Verified kids’ tea and juice box. It is a blend of antioxidant-rich teas sweetened only with fruits and veggies and, at just six grams of sugar, boasts the lowest sugar content of any kids’ juice box on the market. Little Me Tea is caffeine-free, gluten-free, vegan, and has no synthetic ascorbic acid.

In Sept, Little Me Tea added two additional flavors. It’s product line has four flavors including Julia’s Tropical Tea, Zane’s Grape Tea, and the recently added Fruit Punch Tea and Berry Tasty Tea. The full line of Little Me Teas are available in 6.75 ounce Tetra Paks with a suggested retail price of $2.99 – 3.39 for a three-pack. As of September, 2014, Little Me Tea can be found in more than 600 stores nationwide and in the Caribbean. For more information visit www.littlemetea.com
