Distribution Roundup: GT’s, KeVita, Mamma Chia & Evolution Fresh on CVS Shelves

EK_OriginalAll credit for this week’s distribution roundup goes to BevNET’s managing editor Ray Latif, whose soft eyes spotted a gang of new entrants in the beverage cooler of a Boston area CVS recently. Among the new brands now available at the drugstore chain are GT’s Kombucha, Evolution Fresh, Mamma Chia and probiotic beverage brand KeVita, all of which are arriving at CVS by way of Dari Farms, a Tolland, Connecticut-based DSD distributor that services more than 5,000 retailers throughout Southern New England.

“CVS is putting more “good for you” products in their stores on their own,” wrote GT’s Kombucha founder GT Dave in an e-mail to BevNET. “We’re grateful to be included in that initiative.”

Another tipster recently pointed out that HPP juice brand Suja has been authorized at 120 of Au Bon Pain’s 243 locations. The Boston-based bakery and cafe chain is carrying Suja’s Green Delight and Berry Goodness flavors.

Sipp Sparkling Organics can now be found at independent wine retailer Total Wine & More, which operates more than 125 locations across 17 states. In a press release, Sipp founder and CEO Beth Wilson-Parentice said the new placements show the product’s “versatility not only as a soda alternative but also an organic cocktail mixer.” Sipp also recently enter New York City fast-food chain for the health conscious consumer fresh&co.
