LifeAID Partners with I AM ADAPTIVE and Some Assembly Required

I AM ADAPTIVE™ is now the official charity of FitAID. I AM ADAPTIVE is a non-profit whose goal is to alter the global perception of individuals described as “handicapped” or “disabled” by replacing those negative labels with the more accurate “adaptive” term. The group raises awareness through educational programs, community outreach and sports camps. In addition to making a cash donation, all new cans of FitAID will display the official logo of I AM ADAPTIVE to help increase funding and awareness of the movement and its goal of constructing a state of the art rehab and athletic facility to be the home to hundreds of adaptive athletes – a place where the future of the adaptive movement will be created.

Founded by military veterans, SAR is now also a partner of FitAID and is founded by military veterans. SAR sponsors a team of adaptive athletes that act as inspirational ambassadors for adaptive sports. They are dedicated to expanding competitive adaptive events throughout the world. As an official partner of SAR, FitAID has made an appreciable cash donation and will be helping the team as they travel around the country competing.

“When we first met the adaptive athletes in January at the Wodapalooza Fitness Festival in Miami, we were blown away by their no excuses attitude,” said Aaron Hinde, LifeAID Beverage Company president . “Can’t has never been part of our vocabulary here at LifeAID and it obviously isn’t part of theirs either. We are honored to team up with I AM ADAPTIVE and Team Some Assembly Required as their official ready-to-drink sponsor and are thrilled to forge a long term relationship in keeping adaptive athletes fueled with the cleanest recovery nutrition on the market.”

Since FitAID has gained such widespread acceptance within the CrossFit® community, a partnership with these two outstanding adaptive organizations is natural. An example of the partnership will soon be released in a forthcoming video series titled Stories of Recovery which will be an inspiration to thousands of adaptive individuals.

“It is also important to us at LifeAID that so many of the adaptive athletes are veterans. These partnerships provide our team a way of honoring their sacrifice,” noted Aaron.

“I AM ADAPTIVE is thrilled to join forces and become the official charity of a LifeAID Beverage Company whose mission is so in tune with our own,” said Marilyn and Ellyse Zosia, founders of I AM ADAPTIVE. “We both believe in the greatness that lies within everyone and we are both striving to help optimize people’s lives, health, wellness and passions. We couldn’t be more happy to have FitAID help us take the I AM ADAPTIVE MOVEMENT to the next level. It’s only the beginning.”
