Stumptown Coffee Debuts Grand Cru Cold Brew Gesha

unnamed-7November 5, 2015: Stumptown Coffee Roasters continues to break ground in the world of Cold Brew Coffee with the release of their first ever Grand Cru Cold Brew, featuring an exclusive lot of Honduras Finca El Puente Gesha. This limited production is available in elegant 750mL bottles in all Stumptown cafes.

Coffee roasters from around the world are eager to buy expensive auction lots of Gesha each year as coffee fans clamor for the varietal. “We cherish this exclusive lot and wanted to give it our special touch – so we cold brewed every single bean,”says Diane Aylsworth, Director of Cold Brew for Stumptown Coffee. “Cold brewing Gesha brought forth the perfect expression of the varietal – the tropical notes of papaya, the orange blossom sweetness, the clarity, the balance. It’s a coffee that sparkles,”

When buying a high-end coffee, consumers are still faced with the challenge of how to brew it properly to best bring out its special characteristics. Purchasing a bottle of Grand Cru Cold Brew does all of the work for them. It’s perfectly brewed and packaged in elegant bottles, making them a special item for the holidays, a lovely gift for anyone hosting a party.

Stumptown’s expertise in cold brewing gives a unique platform to showcase outstanding producers, their farm, and this special coffee variety. Grand Cru Cold Brew is a fresh and perishable coffee that is meant to be savored, but not saved.
