SALISBURY, NC (Aug. 22, 2016) – With an enviably loyal following, Cheerwine is inviting its awesome super fans to apply for its exclusive Cheerwine Authentic Soda Society (the soft drink’s fan club)!

While the fan club was established in 2015, Cheerwine, the family-owned soft drink from North Carolina, has just launched its new incentive-rewards program for Tastemakers (name for fan-club members). Each month, Tastemakers can earn points toward prizes by completing a new challenge.

The next monthly challenge (kicking off at the end of August) will be for Tastemakers to forward a video by Bo (Cheerwine’s spokes guy) to a friend who may want to join the club to get in on the fun. Other types of challenges include YouTube polls, submitting Cheerwine pictures and engaging with Cheerwine’s social-media content. Cheerwine switches up the challenges each month, and also asks its members how they would like to participate.

Earned points can be redeemed at any time for a range of incentives, from a Cheerwine t-shirt to a vintage glass set to free Cheerwine for one year!

To enter the fan club, Cheerwine lovers simply complete a short quiz, and then should expect to receive a welcome email into the society. Just for joining, new members automatically receive 10 points!

Tastemakers are also first to receive breaking news and invites to events. Cheerwine told its fan club members about Cheerwine Kreme (its collaboration with Krispy Kreme) days before announcing it to media, and also gave its Tastemakers the opportunity to buy pre-sale tickets to its “Legendary Giveback 5” concert with The Avett Brothers.
