KiKi Maple Sweet Water Continues Its Support of Charities, Not-For-Profits and Community Events

unnamed-2Troll Bridge Creek Inc, manufacturers of KiKi Maple Sweet Water, has continued its support of charitable donations, not-for-profit organizations and community events as a way to give back.

“We consider support to charities and not-for-profits as essential in positively impacting people and what they do” says Keith Harris, Chief Executive Officer of Troll Bridge Creek Inc. “We recognize that we have responsibilities as a company to give back and provide support to many different organizations as a way of saying thank you to our customers for giving us the ability to actually participate in these causes”.

Troll Bridge Creek has supported charities like Gilda’s Club (a charity dedicated to supporting those living with cancer, as well as families and friends), the CIBC Run for the Cure (a charity focused on breast cancer), the Annual Taste of Guelph fund-raiser for the St. Joseph’s Health Centre, and the Government of Ontario, Ontario Public Servants Food Drive held annually in Toronto.

“This is very personal to me” says Keith Harris. “I have had many people around me who have either suffered through cancer and other health challenges, that I wanted to make a small contribution to the fight against these things, and try to make life a little better for those go through these scourges.”

Support for not-for-profit organizations like the Ontario Hazelnut Association, Life Sciences Ontario, Innovation Guelph, and Ontario Agri-Food Technologies, either through donation or speaking on entrepreneurship and business development have increased the visibility of these organizations. “Life Sciences Ontario appreciates the donation of KiKi Maple Sweet Water” says Jason Field, President and Chief Executive Officer of Life Sciences Ontario. “Our objective is to speak on behalf of all life sciences in Ontario with one voice, and it is really great to have this type of support come from a local entrepreneurial company producing an Ontario product.

“Innovation Guelph and Ontario Agri-Food Technologies have been very good to us in terms of moving us forward” says Keith Harris. “Without these people, we would not be where we are today, so we want to help them support other entrepreneurs and companies as they develop, so they can also have a positive impact on producers and the economy”.
