PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (December 2, 2016) – Organic sparkling drink company Sipp Eco Beverage Co. announced today that its line of better-for-you beverages, Sipp Sparkling Organics, are now being distributed through global food service distributor, Sysco.
Distribution through Sysco represents an increased penetration into restaurants, specifically fast-casual chains, for the brand. Currently, Sipp is sold in several fast-casual chains, including New York City-based fresh & co., as well as Mediterranean-inspired Luna Grill on the West Coast.
“We’ve received overwhelming interest in our products from up-and-coming fast casual, better-for-you restaurants,” Beth Wilson-Parentice, CEO and Founder of Sipp, commented. “Healthy quick-service establishments and coffee shops are looking for unique flavor profiles and organic products to offer their guests instead of what’s typical. Distribution through Sysco will make it possible for the owners and operators to place Sipp in their cooler sets very easily. It’s really exciting for us to see the positive response and we are looking forward to continued growth in this market.”
In addition to fast-casual restaurants, Sipp is expanding to university and college campuses through Sysco, currently selling in New York University and Columbia University commissaries.
“Partnering with Sysco is a great win for Sipp,” said Josh Rosinsky, VP of Sales for Sipp. He added, “We are committed to growing the all natural and organic CSD category together with Sysco, based on increased demand from consumers for our products when eating out.”
The foodservice distributor is delivering the brand’s original 12oz glass bottle format as well as the new 10.5oz slim cans.
Sysco is a global leader in food product distribution, with over 196 distribution facilities serving approximately 425,000 customers. According to its website, the company generated sales of over $48 billion for fiscal year 2015, which ended June 27, 2015.
In addition to fast-casual restaurants, Sipp is currently sold in Target stores nationwide, as well as Whole Foods Market, Wegmans, The Fresh Market, Total Wine, H-E-B, Central Market, ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Schnucks, Heinen’s, Fairway Market, Jewel-Osco, Earth Fare, and many more.
