- Bill Tencza, the Senior Category Manager for Beverage and Snack at Quick Chek, discussing the balance between the fast-turn requirements of the convenience marketplace and how that balances with the desire to put more innovative offerings on the shelf. An on-stage discussion with Tencza about this important convenience chain will provide a glimpse at the rate at which entrepreneurial beverage companies can break into the mainstream.
- Chuck Muth, the Senior VP of Sales for Coca-Cola’s Venturing and Emerging Brands Unit (VEB), who will join a panel discussing the key strategies on the sales, marketing, and operational sides that brands face as they attempt to move from natural and specialty channels into more widespread retailers like traditional grocery, convenience and drug accounts. As a key member of the Honest Tea team that helped shepherd the brand into mainstream accounts, as well as a former executive with Philadelphia Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Muth brings deep experience in working with innovative brands to the table.
- “Getting Beyond Incubation Channels: Strategy, Sales, & Marketing” will also feature Neil Kimberley, the Senior VP of Strategy and Brand Development for Essentia Water – a company that is currently involved in that very same process – and Greg Fleishman, the chief strategist and co-founder of Purely Righteous Brands, whose deep marketing background with innovative brands includes helping Kashi, Sambazon, and Suja break into the market and expand into conventional channels while staying connected to their natural and specialty roots.
