LAS VEGAS (April 30, 2012)— XYIENCE has added extreme performance expert and professional strength coach Michael Palmieri to its team of trainers. The founder of the Institute of Sports Science and Athletic Conditioning, an athletic research, training and education consulting facility in Las Vegas, Palmieri will provide content on training for XYIENCE’s website, represent the brand at health and fitness tradeshows as well as other events and provide sports performance testing for XYIENCE’s team of professional athletes.
With the experience of a career spanning 20 years, Palmieri’s client list includes an international roster of professional athletes from sports including mixed martial arts (MMA), football, basketball and weightlifting. He holds a strength and conditioning specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), is a coach with U.S.A. Weightlifting and currently serves as the Nevada state chairman for the NSCA. He is also the state director for the North American Strongman Corporation, has published articles in various trade and consumer publications and is often a frequent guest lecturer at industry meetings and events.
