Boston Harbor Distillery Set to Open in Early 2015

Boston, MA (December 2014) – In early 2015, Boston Harbor Distillery (BHD) will open at The Port on Boston Harbor in Dorchester, reviving an entrepreneurial center from the mid-1800s. Boston Harbor Distillery will create proprietary craft spirits that integrate rich history, distinctive experiences and beverage culture into each bottle it produces. Housed in a pre-Civil War era building overlooking Boston Harbor, the Distillery will serve as both a distilling facility and an event space, tasting room and mercantile with essential tools and accessories for at-home bartenders, cultivating a community through classes, literature and education.

BHD will pull inspiration from New England’s bounty of seasonal tastes to bottle their own distilled and blended creations, which will be branded with the names of early Massachusetts entrepreneurs who once occupied the same site: Putnam New England Whiskey, Lawley’s New England Spirit and Seymour’s Coffee Liqueur.
