Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine Announces Return of Shine Nog

Ole Smoky Shine NogGATLINBURG, Tenn., Nov. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Ole Smoky® Tennessee Moonshine is bringing back a holiday favorite, Shine Nog (www.olesmoky.com/products), and will roll-out the flavor with national distribution (available in all 50 states) starting in November with a limited run through the holiday season.   Last year, Shine Nog, was only available at the Ole Smoky Distillery (America’s most visited distillery) in Gatlinburg, TN, but sold out within weeks.   Back by popular demand, Shine Nog is not only guaranteed to be the most delicious holiday cocktail you ever tasted, but also the perfect after dessert, dessert.

Ole Smoky Shine Nog is not egg based, but a cream and moonshine liqueur that makes for a smooth, easy to drink cocktail festive for the winter season.  There’s an old saying:  sugar, spice and everything nice.  We say, sugar, spice and some moonshine and theneverything’s nice. Bottled in Ole Smoky’s recognizable 750 mL mason jars, each 35 proof jar will be priced between $20 and $25(prices may vary, check with your local retailer).

“As soon as Shine Nog hit the shelves last year, our team at Ole Smoky knew we had created an incredible product,” says the company’s CEO, John Cochran.   “We sold out immediately and made the decision then and there to go national distribution this year.     Don’t let the bottle fool you, it’s white in color so it looks like milk.  And it tastes like cookies and cream.  Serve it ice cold, on the rocks or blended using one of our recipes.  It’s delicious.  There’s no other way to describe it.”
