Rogue Ales & Spirits Named “Distiller of the Year” at World Beverage Competition

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, January 13, 2014 – Rogue Ales & Spirits, an American agri-craft beverage brewery & distillery, has been named “DISTILLER OF THE YEAR” at the World Beverage Competition in Geneva, Switzerland.

The World Beverage Competition is the world’s largest beverage competition with more than 20,000 entrants. As the judges note, “Bringing the [Distiller of the Year] Award to the U.S. for the first time in many years is a great achievement!”

Celebrating their 25th Anniversary in brewing and 10th Anniversary in craft distilling, Rogue remains committed to growing, malting, roasting and smoking their own barley, rye, hops, honey, jalapenos, pumpkins and botanicals on two farms in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and Tygh Valley Bench, located in the eastern rain shadown of Mt. Hood.

This proprietary palate of ingredients allows Rogue’s team of ground-to-glass distillers to handcraft Dead Guy Whiskey, Oregon Single Malt Whiskey, Oregon Single Malt Vodka, Oregon Rye Whiskey, Spruce Gin, Pink Spruce Gin, Hazelnut Spice Rum and Chipotle Spirit from the seed, to the bottle.

Rogue’s variety of artisan spirits are available in limited quantities in 45 states and 5 countries.
