Worldwide collaboration to promote the best of the Italian lifestyle
SAN FRANCISCO (July 1, 2015) – Gruppo Campari, with its iconic Italian drinks portfolio, has announced a global partnership with high-end Italian food market Group Eataly, to promote the Italian lifestyle around the world.
Eataly, who prides itself on its love and passion for artisanal Italian products, and Gruppo Campari, with its unrivalled portfolio of Italian aperitifs and liqueurs, are the perfect pairing to promote the excellence of Italian lifestyle through eating and drinking.
Beginning in May 1st 2015 and lasting until December 2018, the partnership will see two of Italy’s quintessential brands join forces, providing Gruppo Campari’s Italian portfolio enhanced in Eataly’s sixteen stores including the flagship in Turin, New York, Chicago, Sao Paulo, and upcoming openings slated to grow Eataly’s presence by nearly fifty percent worldwide. Campari and Aperol, the iconic aperitifs, will be heroed throughout the partnership in Eataly’s bars, whilst the other brands including authentic after-dinner liqueurs Averna, Braulio, Cynar and the small batch vermouth Cinzano 1757 offering will be subject to local market availability.
Benefitting from a number of different activations including increased presence in Eataly stores through improved visibility on shelf, featuring in leaflets and point of sale materials, Campari will also be promoted in its bars and restaurants through branded glassware as well as gain preferential positioning within Eataly’s extensive beverage menus. Thanks to this partnership international consumers will enjoy the Italian Aperitif experience at its best through perfect serve of the cocktails.
The collaboration of these two iconic Italian brands will also see Campari co-host events withinEataly stores around the globe, with a look to hold further educational events by the Campari Academy, a training centre founded in 2012 to support professional development in the drinks industry, positioning the Group as the authentic evangelist of the Italian lifestyle.
