Gatlinburg, Tenn. (PRWEB) June 30, 2015 — Award-winning moonshine from Sugarlands Distilling Company will be available for purchase at bars and liquor stores throughout New York City beginning August 1.
Moonshine fans in NYC will be able to buy five varieties of Sugarlands Shine, including Jim Tom Hedrick’s Unaged Rye, winner of a gold medal at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
“We are excited to introduce quality moonshine to New York City,” said expansion director Roy Kibling. “New Yorkers have a long standing appreciation for fine spirits, and we are happy to be a part of that tradition.”
Mark Rogers’ American Peach, Tickle’s Dynamite Cinnamon, Butterscotch Gold, and Appalachian Apple Pie—silver medal winners at the World Spirits Competition—will also be available for purchase in NYC beginning in August.
Sugarlands Distilling Company partnered with Empire Merchants to continue their expansion in New York. Sugarlands Shine is currently available in 14 states.
