DES PLAINES, ILLINOIS: Created from wild elderflowers grown and harvested in the Piemonte region of Italy, the experts of Francoli Distillery, who began hand crafting spirits in 1875, have teamed with A. Hardy USA to bring Fiorente Elderflower liqueur to the United States. Francoli has a long history of distilling fine spirits in Italy, and is based in Piedmont, a region often referred to as the “Burgundy of Italy.” Fiorente Elderflower liqueur is vibrant in color and distinctively floral with hints of lemon, mint and honey.
Fiorente was created with bartenders in mind. It has a low sugar content so it can be blended with Prosecco, sparkling wines, or mixed into a variety of cocktails.
Hardy USA president Mark Levinson believes Fiorente Elderflower liqueur is a natural fit for Italian restaurants. “This is the first elderflower liqueur from Italy available in the United States. It has been very well received by on-premise and off-premise retailers. Elderflower liqueurs are in demand, and we expect the demand will significantly increase as American consumers become more familiar with them,” said Levinson.
Fiorente Elderflower liqueur is 20% ABV and is available nationwide. Average retail price for the 750 ml bottle is $24.99.
