Bartender-Inspired The 86 Co. Grows its Team with Two Key Appointments

NEW YORK – MAY 2016 – The 86 Company (“The 86 Co.”) is proud to announce the addition of Lauren Henderson and Auriela Nossa to the professional bartender-based spirits company. Both are assuming key roles in the company as it approaches four years in the market.

The 86 Co. was founded by bartenders, for bartenders and in 2016 is planning to bring their spirits: Fords Gin, Aylesbury Duck Vodka, Caña Brava Rum and Tequila Cabeza to the growing consumer base of home cocktail enthusiasts. To achieve this, The 86 Co. tapped Lauren Henderson to serve as director of strategic accounts, incorporating her over 15 years in the spirits industry to drive consumer programming, strategic development, sales management and brand ideation to reach those looking to make a better drink at home.  Henderson previously held various positions for Campari America and provided strategic guidance in emerging markets for Diageo, Remy Cointreau and Brown Forman.

Furthering The 86 Co.’s reach to bars, bartenders and restaurants, Auriela Nossa will serve as New York market manager. Nossa’s depth of experience as a professional bartender has earned her various positions including bar manager and head bartender of New York’s W Hotel – Downtown.  Nossa completed the coveted Beverage Alcohol Resource five-day program, which solidified her passion and knowledge in spirits and bartending. These qualifications led to her most recent position as brand ambassador for Don Julio Tequila where she educated bartenders and distributors and created special events to build brand awareness.
